The Insulator Collectors Directory has been created for the benefit of all of our hobby’s collectors. As our hobby has evolved, we have been using the internet to assist with our collecting and communication. The online directory is meant to connect collectors no matter if they are open or closet collectors, Facebook or ICON members, magazine subscribers or NIA members. It can be used to find fellow collectors close to your location, to locate someone that you know in the hobby, or to possibly search for collectors with your same interests.

The printed directory is also another tool for collectors. In recent years, a lot of us have started using the internet, smart phones, tablets and computers to assist us in our collecting. However, there are still a lot of collectors that use printed material, including a printed directory. Some people carry it around to shows or keep it on their desk at home. Having your information listed in both the online and printed directories, will provide your information to more collectors.

The National Insulator Association wants these directories to bring more collectors together, as well as to support the Insulator Collecting Hobby.
